Unspoken Question

I knew there was a hard time of my family when I was around 14. But to keep me from all the negative feelings, mom and dad never told me about the what were going on at that time.

I also never had the courage to ask them what happend, all I knew were the changes in their lives:

Dad did not go for work for almost an year;

Mom was sometimes suddenly tearing up when having dinner together.

They tried to make family time same as before:

Dad learned golf and taught me how to play it;

Mom made all the healthy soup for us in dinner.

Everything went back to normal after all. I felt regret that I was not able to ask the questions to share the pain. But also thank you for giving me a carefree childhood.
